GroveX Account Verification and KYC: What to Expect
Understand when GroveX may request verification, what information may be required, how reviews work, and how to complete verification safely.
What account verification means
Account verification is a security and compliance process used to confirm that an account is being operated by the appropriate person and that GroveX has the information needed for the activity taking place.
Not every account will necessarily encounter the same verification steps. The level of information requested can depend on account activity, security events, risk review, applicable requirements, withdrawal review, fraud-prevention checks and other operational factors.
When GroveX may request verification
GroveX may request additional information when:
- creating or recovering an account;
- unusual login or device activity is detected;
- an account is undergoing a security review;
- a deposit or withdrawal requires additional review;
- account information needs to be confirmed or updated;
- activity triggers fraud, risk or compliance controls;
- GroveX is required to obtain additional information before continuing to provide a service.
A verification request does not automatically mean that something is wrong with the account. It means additional checks are required before the relevant action can continue.
Information that may be requested
Depending on the review, GroveX may ask for one or more of the following:
- legal name and date of birth;
- country or region of residence;
- identity document;
- selfie or liveness verification;
- address information;
- information about a transaction or wallet;
- source or purpose information for certain activity;
- additional documents required to resolve a security or compliance review.
Only provide information through the official GroveX interface or a verified GroveX Support process.
How to prepare documents
For the best chance of a smooth review:
- Use a valid, unexpired document.
- Make sure the entire document is visible.
- Avoid glare, blur, heavy shadows and cropped edges.
- Make sure the details are readable.
- Use current information that matches your account details.
- Follow the on-screen instructions exactly.
Do not edit document images or obscure information requested by the verification flow.
Why verification can take longer
Some reviews can be completed quickly while others require manual assessment.
A review may take longer if:
- the submitted image is unclear;
- account details do not match the document;
- additional information is required;
- a transaction is already under manual review;
- the account has a recent security event;
- the verification provider requires another attempt.
If GroveX requests additional information, respond through the official verification or Support channel rather than opening multiple duplicate requests.
Verification and withdrawals
Eligible account activity may sometimes proceed without full identity verification. However, GroveX may request verification before approving a withdrawal when security, fraud-prevention, compliance or risk controls require it.

Protect yourself during verification
GroveX Support will never ask you to provide:
- your account password;
- a wallet seed phrase;
- a private key;
- a live authenticator code for someone else to use;
- remote-control access to your computer for the purpose of moving funds.
If somebody contacts you claiming to be GroveX and asks for these items, stop communicating and use the official Support channel.
